RYA Seamanship Skills

This course gives you the skills to cope with all eventualities, basically it’s a problem solving course. You will learn how to deal with strong winds and waves, recovering crew who have fallen overboard, sailing without a rudder and much more. A fun course designed to give you the confidence to sail in all conditions. This is one of our 2 day modules designed to provide real flexibility for you to choose the direction you would like to take.

This course is suitable for Adults and Youth Sailors age 10+.

Course Structure

Training includes: launching and recovering the boat in different circumstances, stopping, reducing sail, recovering man overboard, anchoring.
