Courses normally take place for young persons during Sail Training week. This course is an introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats which is ideal for young persons (minimum age is 8 years) or to provide a ‘taster’ type course for adults. Duration is one day, which for young persons is made up of 2 half day sessions. The pupil/instructor ratio is 3:1 and the course normally takes place in one of the clubs Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS).
