Safety Boat Coxwain – This is a specific course to teach the requirements for safety boat crews covering both sail training and racing aspects. It covers topics such as race management, rescuing persons from the water, offering assistance to capsized dinghies, windsurfers and other craft and rescue from a lee shore. This course is mandatory for Safety Boat Coxwains during Sail Training Week and recommended for those who wish to helm the club RIBS during club racing
