RYA Powerboat Level 2

Two day course leading to a powerboat driver’s licence.

What is it?

This RYA national qualification builds your powerboating handling and safety skills. On successful completion you will hold a driver’s licence. Students as young as 12 can attend – they can operate a powerboat when supervised by a responsible adult until they reach 16 years old.

When is it?

This course usually runs at weekends from 09:00 to 17:00.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for anyone from 12 years old upwards who wants to develop their powerboating skills.

How much is it?

£299, including a course book and certificate.

Our dedicated training centre is close to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton. On request, one of our experienced instructors can deliver a course at your club or venue. You can also do this course using your own boat.
