The RYA Power Boat Level 2 course provides the skills and knowledge required to drive a powerboat up to 10 metres in length. The course includes launch and recovery techniques, navigation, boat handling, driving at speed, close quarter manoeuvring and other powerboat skills.
On successful completion it also provides you with an International Certificate of Competence. As well as giving you the necessary certificate to skipper your own powerboat, the ICC certificate enables you to charter a power boat abroad.
Minimum age for this course is 12.
