RYA Safety Boat

Two day course on assisting and recovering other small craft.

What is it?                         

Safety Boat is a follow-on from Level 2 for instructors and anyone involved in safety boat duties. It covers the principles of fleet management as well as how to assist, recover and tow dinghies, catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks / canoes and other powerboats. Plenty of experience and a high level of boat handling is essential.

When is it?

This course runs at weekends or on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for instructors, club race officials and safety boat crews. Experience up to Level 2 standard is required.

How much is it?

£199, including certificate.
