RYA Sailing Instructor (dinghy)

Want to share the sport you love?

This five day course is for experienced dinghy sailors who want to go on to teach dinghy sailing to young people and adults in RYA Stages 1 - 4 and RYA Level 1- Start Sailing, 2 - Basic Skills, 3 - Better Sailing and above.

A pre-entry assessment is a pre-requisite for RYA dinghy instructors' course, a day is organised a few weeks before the course.

Please note the following pre-requistes for this course:

•RYA Powerboat Level 2 (Coastal)

•First Aid Certificate (7 hour minimum)

•Sailing to dinghy pre-entry assessment including tidal experience as per the RYA coaching handbook G14

•Minimum age

•Membership of the RYA
