The Sea Survival Course is a one day course for every yachtsman (power or sail). During the Sea Survival Course we cover a wide range of survival issues, including helicopter rescue and immersion in cold water. During this sea survival course there is a practical session in the pool learning how to inflate, climb into, upright and survive in a life-raft.
Of course we hope you never need to use the skills gained on the sea survival course, but think that if the worst ever happens this training will be invaluable and will help to preserve life.
The Sea Survival Course is a requirements for a commercially endorsed Coastalskipper, Yachtmaster or Advanced Powerboat Certificates of Competence. The Sea Survival Course also makes up half of the ISAF Offshore Race Crew Course.
