Summary
We are looking for an experienced Bosun/OOW to join a well-established 85m+ Private/Charter MY in the Med, available to start Mid-October. This is a dual season MY. Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, driven and is able to help build and train a fantastic deck team. We are looking for a fit & healthy Bosun with OOW newly in hand, to join a close group of like-minded guys. An exciting opportunity to learn from the officers onboard, getting a share of underway watches and other responsibilities to further their career. A water sports & team sports background would be preferred, and a Trade background would be ultimate. Our ideal candidate is willing to get stuck in spending most the time out on deck, leading by example. A genuine nice guy with a healthy sense of humour, with no ego, that likes to be social with the crew. The ideal candidate does not have to know everything when it comes to maintenance however must have great product knowledge, with a practical mindset who is able to lead the team during yard periods teaching the team different maintenance skills. Great tender driving experience and previous hands-on responsibility with crane operation and general watersports background. PWC Instructor a bonus Safety conscious is a must, along with a solid work attitude & open mind to learn from others. A good level of bridge experience, gained from existing bridge watch keeping exposure with a good level of understanding ISM. Fishing experience is a bonus and additional skills are welcomed. This is a dual season MY with an experienced owner, this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the guest and owners, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on the face. This role would best suit an adventurous candidate who would like to travel off the beaten tracks as this yacht has an amazing itinerary planned for the next year.
