Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chief steward/ess to join a well-established 70m+ Busy Charter MY with at least 2 years + serving as such on a 60m+ MY. This is a Rotational position.
Our ideal candidate is confident in interacting with guests of all levels, has excellent service skills and a confident refinement in the service they provide. Detail orientated and pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met. Previous Charter experience is essential.
The ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot of things at the same time, a great communicator, great at thinking on her feet, with excellent problem-solving skills, a calm demeanour, detail oriented and loves to provide the highest level of service and exceed guest expectations.
Our ideal candidate is great at leading from the front and motivating her team in a positive, calm and encouraging manner. Passionate about her job and able to ´take things as they come” and make good decisions on her feet.
This is a guest facing role, so must be particularly confident on service, with proficiency in mixology, wines, barista, table decorations and flower arrangements. A creative mind and passion for creating beautiful table decorations and organising theme parties.
Fit and healthy crew- not a party boat.
We are looking for a positive, upbeat, outgoing and bubbly personality, someone that can have some banter. Must be able to form a good relationship with her rotating partner and other department heads and work as a team.
This is a very busy dual season heavy Charter MY, so this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the guest and owners, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on the face.
This role would best suit a candidate who would like to work on one of the most successful and busy charter vessels of this size. This is a VERY heavy Charter MY.

About the program: MED/CAR
Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2, B1B2 visa in hand, WSET level 2/Cocktail/ barista and other certificates would be an advantage.
Requirements for application: Min 2 years’ experience as Chief Steward/ess on a 60m+ MY with proven longevity, Strong Service knowledge, Great with Table decorations and organizing themed parties, Great communicator and listener, Good verifiable references. Confident and skilled. Charter experience is essential.
