TYS Recruitment is currently looking for a 2nd stew to join a 50m private MY based in Fort Lauderdale.

Salary: $4500-5000 DOE
Leave: 38 days per year

The ideal candidate would be looking for a work/life balance in Florida and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 2nd Stew on motor yachts ranging from 35-50 meters. You will be joining a fantastic team led by a hands-on Captain and supportive owners who enjoy family time. You will be joining a team of 3 on the interior, with a wonderful Chief Stew who goes the extra mile with her team. You will be responsible for guiding the junior and be a strong hand to the chief stew, rotating through all interior with a main focus on service when guests are onboard.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with an average of 4-5 months of guest usage per year. The vessel is typically busier during the winter season.
The crew environment is close-knit and supportive, with some of the crew living on board and the other living ashore with their families.
The vessel's cruising itinerary usually includes Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and the Bahamas. After completing one year onboard, there will be an opportunity to receive a training allowance fully supported by the vessel's time and funding, along with an annual salary review.
