TYS Recruitment is looking for a seasonal Service Stew to join a private/ charter 90m M/Y.
Salary: €3000
Leave: 5:1 rotation
Start Date: Mid-October 2024
Joining Location: TBC
Experience: 1 - 2 years in service, any additional skills will be advantageous
Visas: Schengen Mandatory, B1/B2 preferable.
The ideal candidate must have at least one to two years of experience in service on vessels ranging from 60-90m. They should be confident in different service styles, particularly silver service and synchronised service. Additional skills such as barista, floristry, or mixology would be advantageous. The Chief Stewardess has been with the program for many years and focuses on training and nurturing her department.
The owners of the vessel have a great relationship with the crew and previously owned a 65m+ charter yacht from which they brought many crew members. The owners typically come onboard for short stints of less than a week, and they aim to charter this vessel as heavily as their last boat – with charters always taking preference over boss trips.
The vessel is newly purchased and has already had a busy and successful Mediterranean season of charters, hosting large events, and some boss trips. Winter plans will be in Monaco and possibly the Caribbean for the rest of the season.
There is a multinational crew onboard, and the successful candidate will be working under brilliant, long-standing HODs.
