STCW + Refresher
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months+)
Passport - valid 1 year+ minimum
Charter experience
B1B2 VISA
Solid navigational experience
Good knowledge of engineering maintenance - warranty work

Responsibilities: Captain and Engineer, safety, trip planning, provisioning, exterior maintenance. (will run with full time mate/deck as well so they can help in ER, exterior, etc.)
Job Specifics: Running and maintaining a fun and safe program as Captain.
In a captain: I’m looking for someone with enough experience in chartering to run the charters. Absolutely needs to be hands on. I would be expecting him to be maintaining the boat. Knowing how to manage a budget and the books. I need easy going and flexible to be able to multi task as necessary.
Expected amount of crew: 3 full time. I’m currently looking for full time Captain/engineer. I would expect in times of charter we will add a chef or a deck, depending on positions.
About the owner: Describes themselves as relaxed, fun people.
Usage: Private use with friends and family and charter. This can be discussed during an interview.
Vessel description: Sleeps 10 guests in 5 cabins, crews’ accommodations for 6 in 3 cabins with 2 heads. (1 Captain double with head and 2 x bunks with 1 head as well as crew area).
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - Good in USD + charter tips.
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process. Ideally paid on a 1099 to an LLC if American.
Commercial Registered Yacht: no private under 500gt.
