Will also run with a new 2024 Axopar 37 XC (enclosed cabin) – 38’, twin Merc 350 (this will not be towed but driven to the destinations as needed)

Requirements: NO INCIDENT Report - Strong knowledge of Bahamas
3+ years on similar sized yachts (for insurance purposes)
STCW + Refresher
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)
US Passport valid minimum 1 year
High standards are expected

Active, sporty type, interested in water sports of all kinds
Duties: A captain that can take charge and run the program.
Operation, maintenance, washing, waxing, oil changes, etc. and oversight of all aspects of the boat. Work with manufacturer for warranty items. Hire additional crew depending on owner and program needs. Highly responsible, good communicator. Trip planning, provisioning, etc.
This client has chartered many yachts so he is looking for a quality captain and/or team to provide a good level of service. He enjoys knowing all of the systems onboard. He takes an active interest. He prefers privacy so the captain will be off the boat more than usual. While traveling you will use one of the guest quarters. He will provide accommodations while away from Palm Beach at nearby hotels. In Palm Beach he prefers someone that lives nearby and can travel home nightly. Someone who can "go with the flow" and can change plans quickly without getting frustrated. The boat will be used by the owner, family and friends. They enjoy water sports, good food and casual drinking. The owner is an early riser. He would prefer early long trips involving travel to remote and/or distant areas as weather permits.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. USD - Very good.
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
