We are looking for an experienced Chief steward/ess to join a well-established 85m+ Private MY with at least 2 years + serving as such on an 80m+ MY. This is a guest facing, hands-on role (there is a Purser onboard) so strong Service/HK knowledge is essential. Our candidate is confident in leading a large interior team from the front. Great at organising job duties, daily tasks and ensure that they are followed through and training her team in a motivating, kind and friendly manner. The owner likes refined and elegant service, served with a smile and a smooth and happy interior. The ideal candidate is super organized and efficient, a great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, a calm demeanour, detail oriented and loves to provide the highest level of service and exceed guest expectations. Our candidate is confident in all aspects of the interior with strong knowledge of HoH and Service, hands-on and great at leading and motivating her team in a professional but positive, friendly, calm and encouraging manner. We are looking for a positive, upbeat, outgoing and bubbly personality, someone that have some banter. This is a professional, down-to-earth and level-headed crew, so no egos or drama queens. This is not a party boat; the crew onboard enjoys staying fit and healthy. This is a Dual season MY. Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH. This is a high-profile vessel that has high-profile clientele, so we are looking for a discreet, positive and friendly Chief Steward/ess with a warm and approachable persona. This role would best suit a candidate who would like to join a dual season MY with a well-planned itinerary, with a great owner and a lovely Captain and crew onboard.
