Summary
A skilled and hard working 3rd Engineer (minimum EOOW or Y3) is required to join a UAE-based, private 100m+ vessel that cruises extensively through the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The client is looking for a candidate with good all round experience and a strong CV which shows solid foundational understanding of most yacht engineering systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a aspiring engineer to build a CV changing role onboard one of the most iconic superyachts in the world. You should come with an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, a teachable, calm character and a willingness to commit long term to the vessel.
You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and have no visible tattoos.The start date is ASAP.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Preferably 2+ years on a large yacht or cruise ship in similar role and rank experience
- Minimum EOOW or Y3 COC
- Class 2 ticket advantageous
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- No visible tattoos
