TEMPORARY PURSER NEEDED FOR A 70m+ SUPPORT MOTOR YACHT
Dates: December 2024 – Mid Jan 2025
Itinerary: Middle East - Indian Ocean
We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Purser, with excellent communication skills for a 70m+ Private Motor Yacht for a temporary position starting in December.
Key responsibilities include managing payroll, processing invoices, and overseeing purchasing controls while providing monthly financial reports to the Owner’s office.
You will serve as a liaison with management and suppliers, coordinate crew recruitment and contract administration, and ensure confidentiality agreements are signed. Additionally, you will handle crew welfare, medical appointments, and travel planning, as well as manage crew documentation and customs clearance.
Facilitating guest activities in collaboration with the Captain, Chief Officer, and Chief Steward.
Shore-based accommodation and transport to and from the boat will be provided when in the Middle East.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- STCW/ENG1
- Seafarers Medical Certificate
- Willingness to undergo medical screening (TB test)
- Designated Security Duties Certificate
- Crowd and Crisis Management Certificate
· Maritime Cyber Security Awareness Certificate
· International Driver’s Licence
- No visible tattoos
· At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent references are needed
