Summary
A German-speaking, qualified, well presented, organised, and experienced rotational Chief Stewardess is required for a private 60-metre gloablly crusing motor yacht. The ideal candidate should show a track record within the yacht industry and should have exemplary service skills and the knowledge and experience to ensure the highest standards are maintained within the interior of the vessel. Candidates should display a positive attitude, be highly professional, have a keen eye for detail, be hard workers, and be great communicators. You should be willing to commit long-term to the exciting program, which includes upcoming Indian Ocean island cruising. The position is open to persons who have subtle tattoos but no smokers, unfortunately. The role also offers an incredible bonus scheme.
The start date for this role is 1 November. Extensive 1-month handover with existing Chief Stew to be completed.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 3-4 years in similar role and rank experience
- Excellent service experience and qualifications preferred
- Skills & certifications in food hygiene, wine & cocktails, flowers, and UHNW individuals will be well received
- Fabric care and wardrobe management are important part of this role
- Trip / Charter planning experience and skills will be well received
- Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required.
- Management reporting is a requirement but very little accounting requirements
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent German
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- Subtle visible tattoos allowed but no smokers
- Candidates will need to provide a video introduction if shortlisted
