Job Title: Housekeeper Stewardess
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeping Stewardess for a prestigious luxury yacht. In this role, you will be joining an enthusiastic interior team of 20, with 12 on board at any given time on rotation. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for someone with a strong housekeeping background, a passion for high-standard service, and an affinity for creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
As part of a close-knit team of four housekeeping stews, you’ll rotate responsibilities to maintain a spotless environment for both owners and guests. Due to shared cabin arrangements, female candidates are preferred. Ideally, you’ll bring at least 1.5 years of experience in a similar position on a comparable yacht, and you should be ready to start on either November 28 or December 10, depending on the vessel’s upcoming transatlantic crossing schedule.
We’re looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail, a high standard for cleanliness, and a sense of pride in their work. A natural enjoyment in engaging with kids in activities when needed will be highly valued. Team spirit is essential, as you’ll work closely with other stews, balancing individual and shared responsibilities to support the smooth operation of the yacht’s interiors.
Additional qualifications would be beneficial for this role, any hairdressing skill - particularly blow-drying - as there is demand for this among the guests and crew. These added skills can enhance your candidacy and earning potential.
The role offers a balanced 3:1 rotation schedule salary does depend on experience and any additional skills you bring. There is also an equal tip-sharing policy among all crew members, ensuring that everyone benefits from the yacht’s high standards of service.
