Summary
Looking for an experienced stewardess to join a close-knit, down to earth crew on board a 59m+ MY as Head of Housekeeping.
Ideal candidate would have 1-2 years experience in the industry on a similar size vessel with previous proven longevity. Ideally looking for someone who has outgrown their "stewardess" role and is looking for more responsibility and growth in their career. As Head of Housekeeping you will still be involved in all areas of the interior including service as well as be a strong support to the chief stew but your main focus will be the back of house and ensuring it is kept at a high standard as well as managing the interior team and upholding the daily worklist.
Someone who is mature, positive, a team player, has a good eye for detail and is a good communicator but willing to take direction would fit in well with the team.
Duties will include:
Collaborating with the Chief Stew in maintaining the highest standards, ensuring all back of house areas are impeccable while implementing internal manuals/checklists
Assisting the Chief Stew in managing the interior team and training/mentoring stews with a proactive & intuitive approach
Leading by example and being a team motivator as well as contribute to the positive & fun environment already onboard
Supporting the Chief Stew in inventory management as well as uniform and wardrobe
Cruising itinerary is Caribbean and Bahamas, Europe summer 2025.
