Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 40m yacht
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer for a 40m motor yacht. The ideal candidate must hold a Y3 ticket and have experience with Italian-built vessels, as the yacht will be undergoing warranty work in Italy this winter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all engineering operations onboard
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs
- Work closely with the deck/assistant engineer
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Warranty work
Requirements:
- Y3 ticket
- Experience as a sole engineer
- Italian build experience is a plus
- Charter experience beneficial
- Ideally someone based in or close to Puerto Banus (not essential)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Livorno-Puerto Banus
Salary: EUR 7000
Leave: 60 days with 2 round flights
Vessel based in Puerto Banus, this year in Livorno for Warranty Work.
Private -Weekend local trips with the owner.
