Summary
We are looking for a motivated and career driven full-time Chief Officer (OOW min) to join this busy Private 42m M/Y.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bosun from a larger vessel, or a newly qualified OOW / Chief Mate to join a busy tight knit vessel heading to the Caribbean and the Galapagos Islands and possibly Alaska. The successful candidate will get extensive sea miles and drive time.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of ISM (the ship runs Mini-ISM) and can confidently help the Captain with the day to day runnings of the ship. The candidate will take charge of the LSA and FFE plus planned maintenance systems onboard along with the runnings of the new bridge equipment including the newly installed full ECDIS set up.
Candidates should have B1/B2 in hand (please don't apply if you don't have this already) and candidates with Jet Tender experience will be favored. True non smokers only please. There is a very generous package on offer with above industry standard salary plus bonus and training scheme onboard. Leave is 38 days however the vessel takes dock express to and from the Caribbean each year so the crew take this time off also - which works out at another 1 month + of paid leave.
The position is to start asap or by the first week of December at the latest.
