Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand/Carpenter for a 40m+ yacht

The vessel is looking for a deckhand with carpentry/joinery skills, who can be hands-on with repair and maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the yacht and assist with various maintenance duties
Requirements
STCW and ENG1 with at least 6 months until expiry
1 year+ previous experience on similar role
Schengen visa if needed
AEC1&2 are beneficial but not essential
Key Responsibilities
Deckhand Duties
· Assist with general deck maintenance including cleaning, polishing, and detailing.
· Stand lookout during watch shifts.
· Help with mooring and docking operations.
· Ensure the vessel is well-maintained and presentable at all times.
· Assist in operating tenders and water toys.
Carpentry & Joinery Tasks
· Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance on the yacht’s interior and exterior.
· Perform joinery work for repairs, customizations, and modifications.
· Maintain tools and equipment for carpentry tasks.
· Support any interior refurbishments or refits as required.
· Provide hands-on assistance with other maintenance tasks as needed.

Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 3000
Leave: 38 days
