Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 60m+ yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a m+ vessel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Y1- or Chief unlimited required
- Proven experience in a similar role on yachts or commercial vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- AVIT/ETO knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: Mid January 2025
Location: Caribbean
Bonus Scheme: 1x month after 12 months, 2x after 24 months and 3x after 36 months and every year thereafter.
Salary: EUR 9500
Leave: 8:8 rotation
