Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our team aboard an 80+m private and charter vessel. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems on board.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a 2nd Engineer on large yachts or similar vessels.
• " Engineer unlimited license
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications for the role.

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
• MCA Engine Watch Rating Certificate
• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
• RIII/2 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)

Electrical Technical Officer Qualifications (ETO or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/7 Electro-Technical Rating (ETR)
