A 35m SY currently in New Zealand is looking for a Sole Engineer to commence ASAP.
This is a great opportunity for a Sole Engineer to join a world travelling Sail Yacht with an amazing, off the beaten track itinerary.
The ideal candidate will have experience on sail yachts and be comfortable to stand a navigational watch under sail. They should also hold their STCW, ENG1 and at a minimum their AEC2.
The package includes a salary up to $6000 USD p/m, 30 days leave per year with flights and medical insurance, there is also an annual bonus on board depending on longevity.
The expected itinerary will be to depart New Zealand and travel up the East Coast of Australia into SE Asia. The yacht will then make her way back to the United States via Micronesia, Japan the Aleutian Islands and the Bearing Sea over the next 1-2 years.
Due to cabin arrangements the position is only open to male candidates and non- smokers.
