We have a brilliant opportunity for a motivated, versatile, and well-presented household all-rounder to look after a large 10-bedroom home for an UHNW family of five in their countryside family home. The successful candidate will have excellent management and communication skills and the ability to interact and liase at all levels. Responsible for maintaining the home all year round, you will also be pet and child friendly and have a ‘can-do’ mentality.
The family are looking to appoint a professional and trustworthy individual with great longevity and experience in prior roles. The role will require an all-rounder with a flexible approach, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously. Duties would include hands-on housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe management, pet care duties for their medium sized small dog and light cooking as required. They are ideally looking for someone who is a confident driver and who would be willing to undertake ad-hoc driving and errand running duties.
Working from 08:30am - 06:30pm over 5 days a week, the family would require candidates to be flexible and willing to help out if longer hours are required. This role is open to live-in or live-out candidates if candidates are already based in the area. Prior experience within a high-net-worth household or onboard a super yacht is highly desirable, and a full, clean UK driving license is essential.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Hands-on cleaning and management of the property
· Laundry and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics and ironing
· Packing and unpacking for the principals
· Polishing silver and glassware
· Managing stocks of cleaning products
· Administrative duties & keeping inventories updated
· Liaising with suppliers, tradesmen, and contractors
· Pet care duties
· Driving duties when required
· Ad-hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior experience within in a private household or onboard a superyacht
· Fluency in spoken English & eligibility to work in the UK
· Full, clean UK driving license
· Hardworking and dedicated; high attention to detail and exacting standards
· Able to work independently, trustworthy and reliable
· DBS check
· Professional, well-presented and organised
· Flexibility with working days and hours
· Excellent checkable references
· Prior longevity in a similar role
