Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 50m+ yacht
You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.
Requirements
- At least a season’s experience
- Must hold a Yacht rating or Yachtmaster ticket
- Watersports beneficial
- Tender driving skills a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Tender driving and passenger transfers
- Ensuring all deck equipment is in excellent working condition
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Watersports
Start date: ASAP
Location: Malta-Med
Salary: EUR 2750-increased to EUR 3000 after 3 month probation + tips
Leave: 42 days per annum
Private/Charter vessel- Based in Malta-Summer Med
