Sole Engineer in Antigua & Barbuda

Summary

We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 40m+ Private/Charter S/Y.

-Rotational position (8:8) to start the middle of March.

-BUSY dual season vessel.

-Required to have a minimum of a Y3 or equivalent!

-The ideal candidate will have sailing, hydraulics and PLC’s experience!

-Experience with Cat Engines and Northern Lights Generators is a bonus. 

-Candidates should have proven longevity.

-Total of 7 mixed nationality crew onboard!

-The vessel requires a Seamans Discharge Book prior to employment.

-Non-smoking vessel.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
