Summary
Seeking an experienced, hands-on First Mate for a 40m, FF, busy charter/private M/Y. Vessel is looking for someone with high energy, a positive attitude and team player mind set.
· Yacht Master Offshore at minimum. Someone with a few OOW modules under their belt would be great.
· Mature minded and responsible to lead the team, conduct drills, stand watches.
· Must be confident to drive a 40ft Intrepid. Solid experience with water toys, e-foils, fishing experience would be a bonus as would diving.
· Must have experience working in the Bahamas.
· Charter experience is essential.
Vessel has several charters booked for the Bahamas/Caribbean where the vessel will be based for the rest of this year.
Amazing US owners, Excellent Captain and crew that all get on great. Mixed nationalities keep in interesting and fun.
Start: ASAP or by the end of February at the latest
Salary: $7000 pm
Standard MLC contract with 40 days- leave at this time.
