Summary
An experienced and hard-working temporary Crew Chef is required for MY 100 meter+ based in the Middle East. As part of a three man galley team (Head Chef, Sous Chef and Crew Chef). The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in the yacht or cruise ship industry. You should be a good communicator, with an eye for detail as well as a solid understanding of cooking techniques across a wide range of international cuisine. The higher your qualifications, the better but proven ability through detailed references is required. Candidate must be willing to cook for several dietary requirements onboard and for up to 35 crew.
The start date for this role is March 9th, 2025 and the contract will run until May 18th, 2024.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Ships Cook certificate
- Food Hygiene Level 2 is required
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience on yacht or cruise ship above 60 meter+
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- No visible tattoos and no smokers
