Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp junior engineer for a 70m yacht
We are looking for a Junior Engineer to assist with temporary work on a 70m yacht. This role is ideal for someone who is serious about pursuing a career in yacht engineering and looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Requirements
· 6-12 months experience on a yacht
· Basic STCW and Eng1
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Trade background beneficial
· AEC a plus
· Fluent in English, additional language a plus
Duties can include, but are not limited to, engine room cleanliness, carrying out basic maintenance, watch keeping functions and repairs.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 weeks
Location: Port Vell
Salary: EUR 3500
The vessel’s operational schedule remains uncertain—it may remain in Port Vell or be utilized for guest operations. Candidates should be adaptable and prepared for either scenario.
