2nd Engineer in Antigua & Barbuda

Summary

Second engineer required for 74m >3000GT commercially operated, dual season charter yacht.

• 10 week on 10 week off rotation.
• Minimum, Y3 or EOOW but Ideally Second Engineer Unlimited CoC.
• Salary, USD$ 7500 x 12
• Shared cabin

Successful candidate:

• Will be experienced in scheduling and managing all engine room maintenance, engineering personnel and spare parts.
• Will join a dynamic team, including C/E, ETO and 3^rd Engineer.
• Will ideally have superyacht experience.
• Will have experience and ability to utilize planned maintenance systems. IDEA.
• Experience and ability to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on all onboard systems and vessel’s tenders.
• Will be required to undertake mechanical repair work and manage shipyard repairs where necessary

Not suitable for a green candidate.

Start date: This week ASAP ideally before or on 25th Feb

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
