Summary
TYS Recruitment is looking for a 2nd Stew for a dual-season 50m new build, private/charter MY.
- Start date: beginning - Mid March
- Joining Location: Italy, Livorno
- Salary: €4000 (rising to €4500 after successful probation)
- Leave: 45 days
- Visas: Schengen for non-EU passport holders.
- Female due to cabin arrangements
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, with at least one full season on a busy charter boat. You will be the right-hand to the Chief Stew and must be adaptable, self-driven and confident in all areas of the interior. You should have exceptionally strong service skills and be able to guide and lead the Junior Stews. Someone with strong creativity with table settings would take preference.
You will be working in an interior team of 4, with a total crew of 11 onboard. The wonderful, experienced owner values longevity in his crew, and there is a great team onboard, including the Captain and HODs, who have all worked together before. You will be guided by an absolutely brilliant Chief Stew, and leadership skills are very important as you will step into her shoes in her absence.
This is a dual-season vessel, and the current itinerary will be a Med summer, with a boss trip and charters booked. Then, for the winter season, the Red Sea and other exciting destinations will follow. There is a lot of room for growth onboard, and this role is perfect for someone who would like to grow with the owners on their new vessel.
