Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent 2nd Engineer for their 55m+ Charter Sailing Yacht .
This exciting opportunity is based in Europe and involves working on a prestigious sailing yacht. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of onboard systems, ensuring the safety and smooth running of the yacht during charters. The role demands strong technical skills in engineering and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in yacht operations. The 2nd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer and be part of a professional team dedicated to providing an exceptional experience to charter guests.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a 2nd Engineer on yachts, preferably in the 40 - 60m range.
- AEC1 & 2 or Higher.
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1 medical certificate.
- Strong technical knowledge of yacht systems and machinery.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Experience in charter operations is an advantage.
- Able to stand in as acting Chief Engineer.
Package:
- Salary:€3,500 - 4,000 pcm
- Leave: Standard leave
- Itinerary: Mediterranean - Single Season
