Summary
A terrific opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive Head Housekeeper to facilitate the smooth running of a large 4-storey luxury property in Westminster. A full-time residence for a busy family of seven, you will work proactively managing a team of housekeepers and a laundress, leading from the front to ensure that exceptional levels of cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times.
With prior experience in a similar role onboard a superyacht, you will be self-motivated and have excellent time management and communication skills, able to liaise at all levels when required. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with excellent high-end housekeeping and exceptional wardrobe management skills. Additionally, you will assist the butler with all service duties and scheduling of the staff rotas.
Working 5 days on with 2 days off on a rota basis, general working hours would depend on the shift pattern which would be 9 hours shifts between the hours of 09:00-23:00. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm, can-do attitude is of essence for this role, as is the ability to take any last-minute changes in your stride. The ideal candidate will be firm but fair, a true team player and have an excellent eye for detail.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Daily housekeeping and cleaning of the property ensuring that all bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and communal areas are maintained to include dusting, vacuuming and mopping
· Ensuring all areas of the house are reset after use
· Managing the principals wardrobe
· Assisting the Butler with any administrative duties required
· Packing and unpacking for the principal
· Inventory management
· Assist the butler with all service duties as required
· Overseeing the standards of work and providing correction and training as and where needed in a pleasant manner
· Ad-hoc duties as required

· Prior experience within a similar role onboard a superyacht
· Excellent communicator with fluent spoken and written English skills
· Hardworking with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude

· The right to live and work in the UK and London-based
