2nd Officer

Summary

We are looking for a newly qualified OOW for a 2^nd Officer position on a 55m Private/Charter M/Y currently in the Caribbean.

You will need to have been working on yachts for a minimum 3/4 years to be considered for the position and experience being in a leadership role.

They will be completing the winter Caribbean season before completing the Atlantic crossing to the Med, where there are both charters and boss trips scheduled for the season.

Duties to include

·        Maintaining all safety equipment, including weekly and monthly checks

·        GMDSS maintenance

·        Assisting the chief officer with ISM/ISPS

·        Running the deck team along with the bosun to ensure the vessel is maintained to a high standard

Package:

·        $6000 pm

·        60 days leave.

·        Annual course allowance

·        13^th month salary at the discretion of the owner.

B1B2 and Schengen/EU passport required.

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
