2nd Officer

Summary

• 80m Dual season Private Motor yacht are looking for a 2^nd Officer to join them in the first 2 weeks of April ready for a handover and to hit the ground running!

• This is a great opportunity for an established officer looking to continue with their career working alongside fantastic chief officers on a well-run program with high standards

• Must hold OOW 3000, have experience as 2^nd/3^rd officer on yachts 60m plus and be confident driving tenders with guests onboard

• Strong knowledge of navigation, safety and operational procedures along with excellent attention to detail and a positive approach to work!

• They are looking for someone who is motivated and able to drive the deck team forward. Your role will be split between bridge and deck with the role being mostly bridge based and around 30% on deck when required. The majority of your role will include watch keeping, chart updates, passage planning and overseeing the safety onboard along with running drills and training with the deck crew

• The boat runs a dual season itinerary and cruises both the Med & Caribbean – Plans for this Summer will be Türkiye, Greece and South of France. Winter plans currently TBC

• On offer is a salary of 5700 Euros DOE, 90 days leave (taken as and when) along with 3 return flights, 13^th month bonus

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
