About the Role:
We are seeking a versatile and motivated Deck/Stew to join a 120ft U.S.-flagged motor yacht for the summer season. This is a slower-paced program focused on company cruising in the New York area, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interior Duties (50%) – Assist the Chief Stewardess with guest service, housekeeping, and interior maintenance.
- Exterior Duties (50%) – Support the Mate with docking, washdowns, line handling, and general deck upkeep.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless operations both inside and out.
Ideal Candidate:
- Open to newer candidates with strong land-based hospitality experience and longevity.
- OR candidates with 1-2 seasons of deck/stew experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (U.S.-flagged vessel).
- Energetic, adaptable, and eager to learn in both interior and exterior departments.
Program Details:
- Vessel will be heading up the East Coast for the Summer Season.
- Slower-paced schedule with cocktail cruises in the NY area.
- Will have your own cabin
- Opportunity for long-term placement based on performance.
