Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 90m+ Prestigious Private Motor yacht are looking for an experienced Chief Officer (CM Unlimited) to join them at the end of April - ideally 27th April start ready for handover

• Great opportunity to work alongside a fantastic owner with great Captains in a professional and well-run program with excellent longevity across all departments

• World cruising itinerary, currently cruising in the Pacific with further plans to push towards Galapagos before heading towards the Med for the Summer and finishing up with 5-year survey at the tail end of Summer, yard to be confirmed. Future plans TBC but likely to be Northwest passage in 2026

• They are looking for an experienced chief officer holding CM Unlimited as minimum. They run a professional program with long standing HODs and are looking for a well-mannered, professional and motivated officer to integrate into the existing team

• The yacht is used steadily by the owner, they move a lot and accrue a lot of sea time!

• Experience with survey/refit works would be advantageous as they enter into the 5-year survey period at the end of Summer

• Excellent overall package, industry standard salary, rising each year, single cabin, time for time (10 weeks on/off) - full package TBD during initial calls

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
