Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a great team onboard a new build 80m yacht
Requirements
- Valid F&HL2 STCW, ENG1
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on similar sized yachts
- Strong restaurant background of at least 6 years
- Great baking and pastry skills
- Hard working with a passion for food
- Creative and willing to learn
Responsibilities
- Daily Meal Prep: Independently prepare meals for up to 21 crew members, ensuring a balanced, nutritious, and delicious menu.
- Helping the Head Chef with guest desserts, breads and pastries
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized galley at all times.
- Team Collaboration- Work well alongside the Head Chef and other crew members to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency.
Start date: End of April/Early May
Location: The Netherlands
Salary: EUR DOE
Leave: 2:2 Rotation
Vessel and Itinerary: Private yacht, will run a dual season programme. Delivery set for end of June 2025.
