Summary
Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Rotational Head Chef for a 50m Charter Yacht.
Start Date:
- Around 9 July 2025 (exact date to be confirmed).
Salary:
- USD $9,000/month.
Leave:
- 2:2 rotation (8 weeks on/off).
Qualifications:
- All standard requirements must be current (STCW, ENG1, etc.).
- Professional Chef training preferred.
- A valid B1/B2 visa and Schengen visa (if required).
Requirements:
- Experience as a sole Head Chef on large yachts, preferably with charter experience in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, and similar locations.
- Proven longevity in past roles.
- Great references.
- Strong knowledge of various service styles, including family-style service, Russian service, and synchronized service.
- Non-smoker.
- Pleasant attitude, excellent disposition, and ability to work well with crew and guests.
Other Details:
- Vessel Location: Currently in Florida; joining location will be in Europe.
- Vessel Itinerary: Dual season: Mediterranean & Caribbean/States. Primarily private use with a few charters per season.
- Crew & Guests: 11 crew onboard; 12-17 guests.
- Vessel Features: Limited storage, fridge, and freezer space.
