The Candidate Specification
We are seeking a hands-on deckhand to join a 28M yacht within a fleet. This vessel is primarily used for day trips, business meetings, and short overnight stays, offering a fast-paced yet structured operational schedule. The yacht is currently in the yard, so candidates with yard experience would be highly beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive mindset and be a confident tender driver. Ideally minimum 1 years experience is required, with a solid foundation in yacht maintenance, tender driving, and mechanical troubleshooting (bonus). Candidates must be confident in handling tenders, with a Yachtmaster preferred, though a Powerboat Level 2 would be considered. Engineering skills are a major bonus, as this role requires someone who is practical, adaptable, and willing to get involved in all aspects of the yacht’s operation.
