About the Role:
Seeking a skilled and proactive 2nd Stewardess to join an interior team of four (occasionally five). The ideal candidate will be hands-on, eager to maintain high standards, and capable of mentoring junior stews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest level of interior service and presentation.
- Assist with training and supporting junior stews.
- Ensure seamless transitions between informal daily service and formal service when entertaining.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse, professional crew.
The Yacht & Owners:
- Owners: American, liveaboard with two dogs; relaxed and informal when alone, preferring formal service when entertaining.
- Crew: Mixed-nationality team (South African, English, French, Kiwi, Argentinian), with long-standing leadership.
- Cruising Plans: Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean, New England (2025), and Europe (2026).
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a 2nd Stewardess or a strong background as a 3rd Stewardess on similar-sized vessels.
- Strong service skills, with the ability to adapt to different levels of formality.
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and a team player.
