About the Role:
We are seeking a Crew Chef to join the support vessel for a private yacht. This vessel serves as the toy carrier and does not cater to guest meals, focusing solely on providing high-quality meals for a crew of 10. The role requires flexibility, as responsibilities will rotate with the Chef and 2nd Stewardess. The vessel is currently in Florida and will be departing in early May to cruise the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare well-balanced, nutritious meals for a crew of 10.
- Maintain a clean and organized galley, ensuring food hygiene standards are met.
- Rotate duties with the onboard Chef and 2nd Stewardess as needed.
- Adapt to the yacht’s adventurous itinerary and off-the-beaten-path travel.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in cooking for large crew numbers.
- Comfortable living and working in a shared onboard environment.
- Passionate about travel and water sports, with an adventurous spirit.
- Positive, active, and a true team player.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous yacht crew experience, including cooking for large teams.
- Culinary Qualifications: Food Hygiene Level II or III, informal culinary classes preferred.
- Additional Skills: Athletic and adaptable, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
