Summary
We are seeking a Second Stew (can be in a team with a Sole Deckhand/Mate) for a 112ft private, motor yacht. Start date will be the 13th of April 2025 in Saint Martin. The yacht will be cruising the Caribbean in June, returning to South Florida by mid- August via Bahamas. The boat is Florida based and usually cruises to the Bahamas and US East Cost.
The candidate will be responsible for the interior maintenance and upkeep of the vessel, as well as providing meal and beverage service to guests. You will work closely with the Chief Stew and Chef in managing the interior. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Second Stewardess on similar-sized yachts. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for this position. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
The yacht is privately owned and primarily used for family cruising, although it can be fast-paced at times. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with wonderful owners in a family-oriented environment.
The boat offers a monthly salary of 4000 USD per month DOE, full medical insurance and 30 days leave.
