Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Captain for a 39m Sailing Yacht currently undergoing shipyard works in Holland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, skilled sailor to take command of a well-maintained private/charter SY with a hands-on and respectful owner.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized sailing yachts.
- Strong longevity and outstanding references.
- Excellent leadership and management skills — someone who can lead by example and inspire the team.
- A keen sailor with in-depth knowledge of yacht operations and sail handling.
- Ability to oversee shipyard work, liaise with contractors, and manage budgets and timelines.
- Confident in navigating North Europe waters.
- A true team player, with a calm, hands-on, and proactive approach.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Owner Expectations:
The owner values flexibility, professionalism, discretion, and a can-do attitude. He enjoys sailing and likes to feel integrated with the crew onboard. He expects the yacht to be maintained and operated to the highest standards.

Salary range: €9,000-9,500 DOE
( no rotational role)
