Chief Officer/1st Mate in Virgin Islands (British)

Summary

45m looking for a permanent Chief Officer.

There is a lot of drive time on offer and most paperwork is looked after by the Captain so it would be more on deck and running the deck crew.

Deck Crew are as follows: Bosun, deckhand, tender driver and a deck/engineer.

Salary is at 6000 euro per month x 13 but they do a few charters so tips will be additional.

Shared cabin, 60 days leave and standard SEA contract.

Starts in SXM and heading to the Med towards the end of the month, weather dependant.

Great position to gain experience and time on the sticks.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt
