Job Title: Executive/Head Housekeeper
Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per year
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm

This is a superb opportunity to join a well-established household in a hands-on leadership role. The Senior Housekeeper will oversee a small team and work in close collaboration with the Estate Manager to ensure that the residence is maintained to impeccable standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience from a similar UHNW household or luxury hospitality setting and possess a calm, capable manner. You’ll be adept at juggling changing priorities, setting high standards, and creating a warm and efficient working environment for your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the daily operations of the housekeeping team while remaining fully hands-on with daily housekeeping
- Supporting and guiding junior staff, ensuring consistent and thorough training
- Working with the Estate Manager to maintain structured housekeeping procedures and routines
- Monitoring inventories and supplies, placing orders when necessary to keep the home well-stocked
- Conducting regular checks of all areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation is always at its best
- Promoting a positive, team-focused working culture with clear communication
- Overseeing the performance and wellbeing of the housekeeping staff, offering support where needed
- Liaising with other members of the household team to deliver seamless, five-star service
- Always upholding the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior position within a private household or yachting background
- Demonstrable leadership skills and a hands-on approach to team management
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and pride in one’s work
- A professional, composed manner with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Willingness to work flexibly when the principals are in residence
