The Candidate Specification
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a team-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will be an open communicator who takes initiative, and someone who is newly qualified OOW with hands on yachting experience. Prior experience on yachts 60M+ is required, and you must hold a valid B1/B2 visa.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic 3rd Officer to join a dynamic private and charter yacht, currently fully booked for the Mediterranean season. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an experienced and supportive crew on a busy vessel that places a strong emphasis on teamwork, onboard training, and professional development.
As the 3rd Officer, your duties will include both bridge responsibilities and hands-on tasks on deck. The yacht regularly hosts high-profile dinner parties with up to 60 guests, so adaptability and a willingness to assist wherever needed are essential.
The vessel boasts a large deck team of 13 and has a strong culture of internal promotion. Crew members benefit from a training allowance and performance-based pay reviews. Equal charter tips are shared among the crew, and with two fully equipped crew gyms onboard, it’s an ideal environment for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle.
